Cork Harbour is the second largest natural harbour in the world and it gloriously stretches along Aghada Pier, Whitegate, Ballycotton Strand, Garryvoe, Ballymacoda, Ballyvergan Reedbeds, Loughaderra, Cuskinny and Midleton Estuary.

The local wetland area in Rostellan is a very popular spot for Bird Watching, as it hosts an abundance of wildlife and wide variety of birds, swans in the nearby creek and lake.

The neighbouring East Cork beach areas of Inch Beach, Ballycotton, Ballynamona and Garryvoe are also places to enjoy family get-togethers, by way of picnic and walks.
