Our Story
IEdmond Morrissey arrived in Rostellan with his widowed mother and three brothers and worked hard to help raise the family through challenging times. Eamon brought the milk rounds to the village on a horse drawn cart where people from Rostellan village and the surrounding East Cork area went to purchase their freshly farmed milk daily, from traditional milk churns.
A lot has changed in farming over the years however our family ethos remains the same.
The farm is now lovingly run by Joe, Olivia and family with a lot of help from Joe’s parents Tom and Breda.

You can also reconnect with nature here on the farm by seeing the animals whilst stocking up on a delicious selection of picnic essentials from our farm shop. Then take to the open road with family and friends and explore all that beautiful Rostellan has to offer!

Joe and Olivia had a vision to create a unique food shopping destination that champions the wealth of Irish food and drink producers and other passionate local artisans. We want it to reflect our home in this beautiful unspoilt landscape of East Cork; to be somewhere that you and your families can come to relax, unwind and refuel.

“Our ethos is simple! We stock and celebrate the best of local Irish produce in our farm shop from neighbouring farms, artisans and regional producers. Whilst also championing small batch, handmade, traditionally crafted, products that use simple natural non artificial ingredients and materials.
We do this by offering both visitors and customers a holistic range of wholesome, fresh, sustainable foods with a ‘No Plastic – Minimal Packaging policy’, whilst working with suppliers that share the same ethos and values. We showcase the very best of what Cork has to offer in by way of a unique family friendly farm-to-table shopping experience on our farm in Rostellan, Co. Cork.”
